Marcia Lynch, Ed.D.
Director of Health Care Programs at Monroe Community College
Dr. Lynch is an innovative leader in adult learning and workforce development with over 20 years of experience. She has a record of creating programs that result in transformational change by generating solutions that lead to systems improvements that advance the well-being of those served.
Starting as an educator and administrator for teachers and youth service workers, she became nationally recognized as a speaker for working with at-risk youth in topics such as crisis prevention and intervention and restorative practices. In 2008, she moved to the community college where she built a portfolio of curriculums from professional skill development to leadership and management. As the Director of Health Care Programs at MCC, she has grown the delivery of healthcare training programs, graduating over 500 students in two short years, despite the challenges of Covid-19. She is known for her unwavering mission to strengthen the region’s economic vitality by providing students with opportunity for meaningful and financially sustainable careers while at the same time filling industry with a well-trained work force.
Marcy has been a keynote for k-12 opening days and presented at conferences including NYS Juvenile Justice conference, NYS Nurses Association, NY Association for Training and Employment Professionals (NYATEP), The Teachers Conference, and National Council for Workforce Education (NCWE).
