Alyssa Tallo

Executive Health Director of Monroe Community Hospital

Alyssa Tallo stepped into the role of Executive Health Director of Monroe Community Hospital (MCH) in September 2020, after serving in an acting capacity for several months and as the Deputy Director beginning in September 2019. During the height of the pandemic, a particularly tumultuous time for all long term care providers, Alyssa hit the ground running to improve care and services for MCH residents, fostering important relationships with staff, residents and families and leading MCH as one of the most successful skilled nursing facilities in mortality, infection, and resident vaccination rates in the region.

Alyssa earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University at Buffalo and served in clinical and managerial therapy roles prior to obtaining her New York State Nursing Home Administrator license. The old adage, “never a dull moment,” always applies at MCH –especially during COVID-19. Perhaps that’s why Alyssa feels such passion about her work – it’s the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives every day. Alyssa quickly took to MCH’s mission, and takes very seriously her responsibility to provide high-quality care to some of our community’s most vulnerable residents.

Alyssa grew up in a small town just outside of Rochester. She now lives in North Chili with husband Jamie, stepdaughter Ella and son Brennan – a very active and adorable toddler who keeps her running even on her rare days off.
