New business models such as ACO’s and PCMH’s are opening up numerous opportunities for healthcare organizations to partner. This course sheds light on the legal requirements that healthcare organizations must consider as they evaluate partnering options.

This course will review the external pressures driving today’s healthcare institutions to explore new partnering opportunities.  It will review each of 7 different affiliation options, their pluses, minuses, and implementation considerations.  The course will explore possible ‘speed bumps’ one may encounter along the way and present the different steps an organization should follow to select the right affiliation model for them.
