Yianni Douros is a globally experienced, value-driven business executive and seasoned consulting practitioner with more than sixteen years of experience advising C-suites, boards of directors, and management teams on today’s most pressing challenges impacting the healthcare ecosystem. Known for an unwavering commitment to authentic leadership and delivery excellence, he is a trusted advisor to healthcare companies undergoing strategic, financial, and operational transformation to reinvent their organizations with disciplined innovation.
Most recently, Yianni served as Managing Director at Accenture (NYSE: ACN) advising healthcare organizations and Fortune 500 companies across industries. As a member of the North America Health Strategy practice and leader in the firm’s Provider business, he has worked with large health systems, non-profit community providers, and children’s hospitals to successfully shape competitive business strategies, create new business segments, improve operational performance, restructure operating models, and execute on multi-year transformation programs to advance better access, quality, and outcomes. Previously, he was a member of Accenture’s global strategy practice where he served clients across industries on business and operating model strategy and execution.
Yianni is committed to working at the intersection of strategy, technology, and community to improve healthcare. Throughout his career, he has served as a thought partner and speaker on a variety of business and healthcare topics including growth, innovation, experience, workforce, and technology / GenAI in local forums and with several national institutions, including the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD). His latest insights highlight the strategic planning imperatives healthcare providers should adopt in shaping transformation, as well as how health systems can achieve financial stability for growth.
Prior to Accenture and following early career roles in management consulting, Yianni co-led the development of the first management training institute in Rwanda, Africa as part of the nation’s economic “Vision 2020” to become a knowledge-based, middle income country. He holds degrees from Babson College and ESADE Business School and resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
