Shelly Kriete, BS, CPHQ, CPHRM, Senior Risk Management Consultant

A health care professional for over 40 years, Shelly joined MLMIC in 2019 as a Risk Management Consultant.

Prior to joining MLMIC, she worked in Quality and Risk Management leadership roles for over 25 years and holds the designations of both Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management. 

In addition to her most recent experience as the Director of Quality/Risk for a MLMIC-insured healthcare system, Shelly’s experience includes acute care, long-term care, urgent care and primary and specialty physician practice.

She also has extensive healthcare consulting experience in managed care network development, strategic planning, operational assessment for physician and ancillary services, and education.

Shelly is the Risk Management Consultant for Western New York.
