This course will provide a fundamental understanding of, and the benefits of, a strengths-based approach to leadership. It will help you understand how leadership strengths are developed, explore the notion of “natural talents” and discover how to develop them into strengths. And it will help you understand what makes strong work teams and how to identify your own leadership style and create an action plan to further develop your talents into real leadership strengths.
Module 1 – A Strengths Approach to Leadership
In this module, you will learn the fundamentals and benefits of a strengths approach to leadership. And you will be given the opportunity to register for a self-assessment to help you determine your existing talents and strengths.

About the Assessment: Within the course, you will be given instructions on how to register to take your assessment, should you choose to do so. The assessment helps individuals discover their most dominant strengths and learn how their ‘signature strengths’ help them excel. They will recognize the unique traits that make them who they are and begin their path to better performance and higher engagement. The cost is $9.99.
Module 2 – Building Talents Into Strengths
In this module, you will explore the characteristics of strong teams and their members and use the information from your self-assessment to build a personalized action plan to further develop your talents and strengths.
