Nicole Pomerantz, MPH

Nicole is a dedicated and hardworking professional who has had many positions that have expanded her knowledge of different implications within the public health industry. She utilizes her academic knowledge with professional experiences to educate, connect and share best practices with healthcare providers, vendors and the community to help embrace the changing business of healthcare.
She attended the University of Maryland, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy. She then continued at the University of Maryland to earn her Masters of Public Health. Her background in public policy coupled with her concentration in Health Policy has served her to better understand specific health policy motives and processes.
Nicole has worked with several organizations with various goals to educate, analyze, and understand many different public health challenges that affect individual communities. She has worked in Congressman Ted Deutch’s office as well as served as a Policy Liaison at United Way of Broward County. Prior to NorthStar Network, she also worked with the Department of Health and Human Services – Services to End and Prevent Homelessness in Rockville Maryland to help analyze and create strategic planning for the Interagency Commission on Homelessness.
Nicole has also demonstrated her passion for education having helped teach students of all ages both in and out of the classroom. She has served in the role of teaching assistant, graduate assistant and currently a part time religious school teacher.
