David Folk is the Co-founder and CEO of NEXT Ltd . NEXT has pioneered training programs and a lifelong support system that marry decades of neuroscience with proprietary technology to unlock the potential of neuro-literacy for all.

NEXT Neuro-literacy-based Training ProgramsTM are evidence-based non-clinical performance solutions. They employ a combination of well-established but never-before-combined behavior change techniques; models for experiential and transformative learning, self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-management; and our own proprietary techniques.

Working diligently with experienced innovators, scientists, practitioners, social entrepreneurs, and thought leaders to democratize neuro-literacy is David’s greatest passion. He truly believes they have unlocked a platform that makes neuro-literacy based products and services a critical cornerstone for global change and innovation.

Prior to founding NEXT, David was co-founder of Jefferson Partners and Lincoln Capital, venture capital firms which invested in more than 50 entrepreneurial companies throughout North America from 1987 to 2008. For 17 years leading up to the financial crisis, the firm achieved returns in the top decile.

David was a founding member of the Task Force on Competitiveness and Prosperity (2001-2015) and Chair of Kids Help Phone, one of Canada’s leading charities for kids and families (1997-2000). While Chair, the Kids Help organization grew from 5 to 40 chapters across Canada, launched the national Walk For Kids and Families, pioneered web-based counseling, and expanded its revolutionary service to counsel parents via Parent Help Line.

David has had the privilege of funding, nurturing, and growing dozens of technology companies including iStar Internet that built the Canadian commercial Internet backbone in the mid 1990s at the dawn of the commercial Internet.
