We live in a diverse community where every person deserves the opportunity to get high quality, affordable and equitable care. At the same time, across the United States and in the Finger Lakes Region, shortages of nurses and primary care physicians are prevalent and can impede access to care delivery.

In this session we will:

In this session we will discuss:

  1. Eliminating health inequities within patient populations. Attendees will understand why it’s important to consider diversity, equity and inclusions allowing them to feel equipped to utilize these principles on an ongoing basis.
  2. The importance of attracting and retaining a diverse workforce to ensure we have the appropriate levels of support for our community.
  3. The education, role and privileges of APP’s (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) and how they help the care delivery system.
