August 7th Agenda
This workshop will explore key factors that differentiate successful cultures from those that stagnate, spiral, and sink. After an initial overview of the attributes of a healthy work environment, we’ll look at practical strategies to help leaders support modern teams so that they can thrive. Attendees of all levels will leave empowered, inspired, and armed with the critical knowledge they need to be engaged, productive, and happier at work.
Having a happy, inspired workforce has a direct correlation to patient comfort and satisfaction. Key questions can arise when patients need to use the health care system. For example, is it safe to get healthcare? If yes, why do over a quarter of a million people die each year from medical errors? Do patients really understand the risks; how quality is measured; and what each patient needs to do to be safe and keep others safe?
During this session, we will share terminology, the most significant risks, how quality and patient experience is measured and what each of us can do to stay safe.
We also will share local quality best practices in various healthcare settings and environments including:
- Acute Care
- Long Term Care
- Home Care
- Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC)
- Physician Groups
- Behavioral/ Mental Health
- Data Quality
- Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)
- Health Insurance (Payer)
In this session we will:
In this session we will:
