Andre Dixon

Instructor in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certification Program at Cornell University

Andre Dixon has developed expertise as a diversity, equity and inclusion practitioner and consultant. With over 15 years of experience, Andre has successfully partnered with organizations across various sectors, including education, retail, healthcare, and finance. Andre is very passionate about organizations becoming increasingly diverse and understanding the importance of creating an equitable and inclusive workplace culture.

Andre holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from Roberts Wesleyan University.

Andre is an Instructor in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certification Program at Cornell University where course participants are equipped with the knowledge to assess and improve employee engagement and enhance organizational culture.

Andre is the Culture Coordinator at Genesee Community Charter School where he works in close collaboration with key school and community stakeholders to integrate new culture programs, training and resources that focus on staff development, student socio-emotional support, and conflict resolution.

Andre is a passionate diversity and inclusion consultant dedicated to fostering inclusive workplaces and driving positive change. As a consultant, Andre partners with organizations around policy development and diversity and inclusion strategic plans. Andre offers expertise in an array of diversity and inclusion training, including unconscious bias, microaggressions, psychological safety, and belonging.

Andre believes in developing a more sophisticated understanding of intergroup relationships within leadership teams and the myriad of processes that interfere with capturing the value that diversity, equity, and inclusion can bring to the team dynamic. Andre is committed to empowering organizations to embrace diversity, foster inclusivity, and unlock the full potential of their diverse talent.
